The Problem

High employee turnover often stems from ineffective Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategies. When employees feel excluded, disengagement rises, impacting morale, productivity, and costs. This module equips employees and leaders with tools to measure and implement DEI practices, fostering an inclusive culture that improves retention and supports long-term success.

Audience

The audience for this module includes HR professionals, managers, team leaders, and executives responsible for implementing and monitoring DEI initiatives

Design and Development:

Created interactive and learner-centered modules that covered DEI metrics, ensuring content was accessible by applying AODA standards and implementation of Accessibility Tools such as alt text for images, closed captions for videos, and appropriate color contrast.

Result and Takeaways

This project successfully met accessibility standards (AODA compliance), ensuring that all learning materials were designed to be inclusive and accessible to individuals with diverse needs. This project has helped me hone the following skills

Needs Assessment: Conducted an initial analysis of the workplace DEI challenges, identifying the lack of clear metrics as a barrier to progress.

Outcome: Delivered a fully accessible, DEI training solution that empowered organizations to track and improve DEI initiatives. The module focus on compliance with accessibility standards added value by increasing participation across a broader audience and improving user experience, which in turn supports greater business outcomes.
