Project

This multimedia project entailed storytelling and self -reflection on overcoming personal dragons or internal struggles that shape learners.

Thought Process

Through my own cancer journey, the narrative was designed to help viewers recognize their own obstacles as steppingstones for growth. Using Transformative Learning Theory as a guide, I centered the narrative on critical reflection and personal growth, leveraging my cancer and relocation experience to illustrate resilience. My aim was to inspire my learners  to see their struggles as opportunities for transformation.

Development Process

Using the Agile Successive Approximation Model, I began with a prototype in PowerPoint to sketch the narrative and gather early feedback   from my professor which allowed quick refinements. I used  Adobe Express to elevate the prototype into a video. Additionally, I sourced copyright-compliant multimedia assets, ensuring respect for intellectual property.

Key Takeaways

Putting to practice integration of learning theories to develop and deliver  multimedia learning contents that is both engaging and ethically compliant  was key takeaway for me in this project . I was able to create an experience that combines technical skill and instructional depth, aimed at empowering learners  to recognize and conquer their own challenges.
